Thank you for joining us at the Red Hen! Please note:

We stop taking day-of reservations after 4:00 pm, but always set aside a portion of the tables in the dining room for walk-in guests. If you are not able to get a reservation we encourage you to use the 'Notify' function that Resy offers, or to walk-in. If we do not have a table ready when you arrive we can add you to the waitlist.

Our 18 seat bar is seated on a first come, first served basis. The full dinner menu is available and can be a great option for our guests not able to secure a reservation for the evening.

About The Red Hen

This trattoria is a favorite amongst locals for good reason. The food, from chef Michael Friedman, is ever-consistent and always crave-worthy — particularly the pastas. The modern, rustic space is alluring yet cozy. And then there's the bar, which stays crowded due to its compelling wine list and nice cocktails. The Red Hen is a steadfast neighborhood joint, always deserving of a visit.
