Red Herring Restaurant & Bar offers Waco’s most unique dining experience, serving something for everyone - from oysters on the half shell, to house-made sourdough focaccia and fresh pasta, to duck confit with from-scratch hummus. In addition to our diverse Coastal-Mediterranean inspired menu, highly curated wine list, and elevated cocktail program.

Our dinner and raw bar menus highlight seasonal seafood, locally-sourced meats, and signature Mediterranean flavors in a grand setting, with soaring ceilings, stylish decor, and historic brick walls - ideal for date nights, client dinners, drinks with friends or semi-private celebrations. We take pride in delivering impeccable dining and beverage experiences to all of our guests!

Need to Know

Reservations are available for both our main dining room AND bar lounge seating area - online or in person - and are strongly encouraged, though our walk-in-only octagonal bar is the ideal place for a cocktail while you wait for a table, or a lively spot for unplanned apps.

Street parking and parking in our adjacent lot are first come, first served. Enter the restaurant through the Hotel Herringbone Plaza OR come join us at the bar lounge through the door on 4th Street.
