Why We Like It

It’s hard to stop at just a few plates (or glasses) at this Santa Monica staple from chef Sandra Cordero. For the full experience, go for the seasonal tapas tasting menu — filled with dishes from classic pintxos to jamón Ibérico and grilled steaks — or choose-your-own-adventure with à la carte options. Wine is pretty much a non-negotiable, with an expertly curated menu that pairs perfectly with the food.

Need to Know

• Tapas Tasting Menu: Our seasonal tasting menu changes monthly and showcases what Xuntos is all about: pintxos, tapas, seafood and veggies from the Santa Monica farmers market. Don’t skip the wine pairing.
• Bar Xuntos: Our bar room is walk-in only. No reservations needed. Tuesday-Thursday 3–10pm and Friday-Saturday 3–11pm.

About Xuntos

Xuntos—"together" in Galician—is Santa Monica's destination for Spanish tapas & natural wine, set in a historic 1926 Art Deco building with mezzanines overlooking the bar and dining room.

Chef Cordero's seasonal Tapas Tasting Menu is the main event in the dining room — a chef-guided progression through the flavors of Northern Spain. À la carte tapas are also available.

In the bodega-style bar, snack on pintxos with over 200 bottles of Spanish artisanal wines and more than 30 wines by the glass, including rare vermouths and sherries. Some treasures arrive at Bar Xuntos for a limited time only, while others are kept permanently in stock. And yes, there are cocktails.
