Why We Like It

Buddy is the kind of neighborhood bar every neighborhood could use: The room is friendly, the wines are natural, the cocktails are stellar (and all based on wine or vermouth), and the snacks are just what you’ll want — maybe most of all the signature crispy mortadella “sammy” with cherry peppers and Dijonnaise.

Need to Know

Due to the intimate size of our space we ask that all guests be mindful of the time limits we have for reservations. For parties of two, we allocate 90 minutes, parties of three have one hour and forty-five minutes, parties of four to five guests are allowed two hours, and parties of six to eight have two and a half hours. These time limits commence at the time the reservation is made for, so please be sure to make it on time. Thank you for your understanding.

Parking can be difficult during peak times, so please plan ahead. Metered and non-metered street parking can be found along 22nd Street, Capp and South VanNess. Be advised that Buddy is NOT associated with the parking lot next door.

Lastly, due to the small size of our restaurant, we cannot guarantee specific tables for reservations. We will always do our best to honor such requests, so please let us know when making a reservation.
