About Franciska
Our food draws inspiration from Argentine bodegón cuisine, a culinary tradition deeply rooted in the Spanish and Italian influences brought by immigrants to Buenos Aires at the turn of the 20th century. While we find our identity in this style of cooking, we are not traditional in the strict sense.
Instead, we focus on thoughtfully crafted dishes that showcase the product with minimal manipulation, using New England–sourced ingredients alongside house-made specialties.
Our wine program focuses on small-production Argentine producers who offer far more than Malbec. Many of these selections are featured on our wine-by-the-glass offerings, allowing guests to explore the diversity and character of Argentina’s wine regions. As for the list itself, we aim to include wines that are interesting, delicious, and full of identity—wines that are enjoyable to talk about regardless of where they come from.
