Lauren Biederman — of Philly’s beloved smoked fish shop — went all in for her first full-service restaurant: an elegant oyster bar where a glowing open kitchen turns out shellfish plateaus and charcoal-grilled octopus under golden light.

Tesiny is a raw bar and charcoal grill-driven open kitchen restaurant in the heart of South Philadelphia. Located at 719 Dickinson Street, we highlight the best of land and sea featuring raw and broiled oysters, inventive seafood crudos, local coal-roasted vegetables, and grilled meats.

The menu is paired with an Old World leaning wine list, showcasing an array of sparkling and semi-sparkling bottles, exciting whites, and easy drinking reds. Behind the bar, our team can craft your ideal martini, a refreshing spritz, or something from our curated selection of cocktails, cordials, and amari alongside dessert or as a nightcap.
