Why We Like It
Rejoice! Brooks Headley’s beloved East Village diner got a serious upgrade (read: a much larger space). While it’s known for its vegetarian takes on burgers, do not sleep on the experimental specials (think Marcella bean and escarole toast, Ezekiel bread grilled cheese), the must-order collard greens sandwich, or any of the incredible desserts.
Need to Know
We are primarily a walk-in based restaurant with limited reservations available one week in advance. If you don't see tables available online, chances are, you'll be able to secure a walk-in table. The diner counter and back bar are always first-come-first-serve.
While we do our best to accommodate guests whom arrive late, those who arrive 10 minutes past their reservation time (regardless of notifying our team) may forfeit their reservation.

About Superiority Burger
Superiority Burger opened in 2015 at 430 East 9th Street, in the East Village. In 2023 SB relocated to 119 Avenue A, across the street from Tompkins Square Park. SB is a proudly Lacto-Ovo vegetarian restaurant with a sizable vegan menu and a full bar.
