Tucked beneath Chinese Tuxedo is the golden, vibrant Opera House, serving up a menu of cocktails and dim sum that’s unique to the downstairs. The space is inspired by the city’s historic Chinese Theatre, so come ready to pose for photos — last call is at 1:30 a.m. every night.

Opera House is a 21+ only venue, for entry please have a valid physical ID.
Opera House welcomes walk-ins on a first-come, first-served basis. We offer a limited amount of table reservations which become available 21 days in advance Monday through to Sunday. If guests are not drinking or eating we will kindly ask for the table back 1 hour after your last order is received. Our last call is at 1.30am every night of the week.
As part of New York City's Open Streets program, Doyers Street is closed to traffic for pedestrians to enjoy. If you are arriving via car, we are a short walk from Pell or Bowery.
About Opera House
Opera House is the latest concept from Tuxedo Hospitality, the creators behind Chinese Tuxedo, The Tyger, and Soso's. Nestled on the subterranean level of the historic 5 Doyers address, Opera House draws its name and inspiration from the celebrated Chinese Theatre, a vibrant cultural hub of Chinatown from 1893 - 1911. Opera House offers an elevated cocktail bar experience and private dining space, designed to seamlessly intertwine with Chinese Tuxedo on the upper level. Our vision for Opera House is to deliver a world-class and best-in-category cocktail and liquor offering, inspired by the rich tapestry of Chinese cuisine and culture.
