What can be said of this New York icon that hasn’t already? One of the city’s most beloved restaurants for exceptional Italian cuisine has a new chef and an updated dining room — right across from Central Park — but the pasta- and seafood-centric menu remains as delightful as ever. P.S. You can never go wrong with an order of the signature red-wine braised octopus fusilli and a crudo sampler.
