Why We Like It
Celebrity chef Eyal Shani (Miznon, Shmoné) has made his way to Dumbo with a second location of Malka, a fully Kosher Mediterranean spot by way of the Upper West Side. All the classic whimsy of Shani’s menu remains intact — just take a look at the menu to see what we mean — and whatever you do, don't sleep on the restaurant's signature schnitzel.
Need to Know
Malka NYC is certified Glatt Kosher, and we offer Kosher wine. No outside food, dessert, or beverages allowed - we must maintain our Kosher requirements. All guests are welcome, whether or not you keep Kosher.
On Saturdays we open at 10pm and serve a $85 per person set menu only, including mezze, falafel, pickles, dips, hummus, and your choice of entree.
We are open for dinner on Mondays-Thursdays, and Sundays. We are closed on Fridays as we observe Shabbat; We open at 11pm on Saturday nights after Shabbat ends. On Sundays we are open from 2pm onward...
