Why We Like It
The name (“love” or “passion” in Urdu) says it all: It’s a passion project from chef Vamshi Adi (Gazab) that draws from the culinary traditions of multiple regions throughout India and blends them with contemporary touches. Expect classic curries and delicately grilled tandoori dishes that are sure to more than satisfy.

Need to Know

• Child policy: To ensure the comfort and experience of all Ishq guests, we respectfully require that all diners be at least 5 years old.
• Cancellation policy: A $25 fee will be automatically charged per guest if the reservation is cancelled within 24 hours. This also holds true for last-minute no-show. We ask that you give us a call at 646-559-4747 if you are running late. Your table will be offered to the waitlist after a 15-minute grace period.

A simple word that tells the story of our passion for Indian food.

Our approach is young and freestyle, inspired by the new India of today, yet homegrown in NYC and adapted to the palette of the local patrons. We feature a vibrant bar near the very entrance and present creative Indian regional plates, all signature creations led by Chef Adi Vamshi.
