Why We Like It

Should you find yourself in Park Slope, do acquaint yourself with this standout neighborhood restaurant where the all-Italian natural wine list flows freely and the naturally leavened sourdough pizzas are fired to perfection. Yes, the lobster pizza is always a draw, but don’t sleep on the other pies, or the other dishes, like perfectly pan-fried artichokes or rich meatballs in sauce.

Please note that all patio reservations are weather dependent. In the event of bad weather, we will always do our best to move your party inside but because we are a small restaurant we sadly cannot guarantee there will not be an additional wait for an indoor table. Grazie for your understanding!

Please also note when booking high-tops that seats at those tables are stools without back supports.

About Il Leone

Naturally leavened/sourdough pizza with ingredients from local organic farms and Italy, born as a pop-up in the woods on an island in Portland, ME. Now open with its first brick and mortar space in Park Slope with all-Italian natural/low intervention wines, cocktails, antipasto plates, gelato and an outdoor patio.
