Why We Like It

By day, Hi-Collar is one of the East Village’s most exciting coffee shops and cafés, with an extensive menu of roasted beans brewed in a variety of ways (pour over, AeroPress, or siphon), plus Japanese comfort food favorites (omurice, mentai cream pasta, and Japanese-style pancakes, anyone?). And by night, it becomes a destination for Japanese whisky, sake, and shochu, best paired with a full spread of dishes from the legendary Sakagura.
