Folk brings excellent cocktails and small Indian-adjacent bites from the same team behind the beloved Lore. Don’t sleep on the Mumbai pot pie with chicken tikka or the milk bread steak sandwich, plus any of the three (!) Negronis on draft.

FOLK is a cocktail-forward neighborhood bar from Chef Jay Kumar of LORE, built for the people who shape this community every day. Our name comes from that idea — the folk who bring a place its heart and soul.

We serve thoughtful, flavor-forward cocktails and an easygoing menu designed to feel welcoming from the moment you walk in. Set in South Slope, FOLK offers a lively, intimate room with limited reservations available. Walk-ins are encouraged, and we keep a waitlist each evening.
