### Why We Like It

Located in an old legendary jazz club, Clay is a dreamy little bistro that brings handmade pastas, seasonally in tune plates, and a killer burger to its West Harlem community. Do not sleep on the wine list — big on small producers — dreamt up by partner Gabriella Davogustto.

## About Clay

Clay is humble, of the earth; it is fluid and ever changing. So too, is the menu at Clay — driven by the seasons, the mood of the chef, and what is fresh and exciting. All produce, meat, and fish is sourced from small, local suppliers; nothing is mass-produced or served out of season; everything is farm-to-table. Wines are spirits come from small producers, both seasoned veterans and ground-breaking upstarts alike — who care about their terroir and couple minimal intervention with maximum innovation. Even the dinnerware is handmade in Brooklyn by a local artist, Wynne Noble.
