It’s the Upper East Side incarnation of Commerce, chef Harold Moore’s beloved West Village restaurant that was a “cool kids” place to eat before Instagram and influencers existed.

We look forward to you visiting Cafe Commerce.
- We are a small, intimate venue with 15 tables.
- We are open every day for lunch & dinner from 11:45am-10pm.
- We have only one table that can accommodate up to 6 people.
- The bar and outdoor tables are for walk-ins only.
- Cafe Commerce will hold your table for 15 minutes before offering it to guests on our waitlist.
- We unfortunately do not have high chairs and are not able to accommodate strollers in the dining room.
- We will serve a two-course $89 Prix Fixe Menu for Mother's Day.
About Cafe Commerce
Cafe Commerce is NYC's best neighborhood restaurant. You can sip delicious cocktails at the bar, gaze at the sexy mural, and enjoy the people watching. Or bask in the welcoming ambiance and warm decor, while experiencing Chef Harold Moore's famous 20 herb salad, sweet potato tortelloni, and the whole roasted chicken, all complemented by a well-chosen wine list. Finish the evening with the Chef's famous coconut cake as the grand finale.
Cafe Commerce is the latest project of Chef Harold Moore and Managing Partner, Charles Pouchot. As an ode to the Chef's much-loved restaurant, Commerce, this American restaurant with a French soul calls the Upper East Side home. They provide fine fare in a casual, inviting environment.
The mural, a centerpiece to the restaurant's decor and a revival from Commerce, is a classic painting by renowned artist David Joel.
