Why We Like It

Located just a few blocks away from the original, Barbuto’s remarkable revival delights with its rustic Italian menu. Sure, the garage doors are gone (they may make a comeback!), but what hasn’t left? The lovely (and for the most part, original) staff; the kale salad; and what may very well be Jonathan Waxman’s magnum opus: that iconic roast chicken, dolled up in salsa verde.

Need to Know

When taking a taxi or car service to the restaurant, guests are encouraged to drop off on West Street and walk around the corner to the entrance on Horatio. Thank you for helping us minimize traffic in the neighborhood.

Please be advised that our outdoor seating is only available on a first come, first serve basis.

Please also be mindful of guests who have reserved after you and limit your time at tables. For parties of 2 we’ve allotted 1.5 hours, for parties of 3+ we’ve allotted 1 hour and 45 mins and for parties of 5+ we’ve allotted 2 hours. We are only able to hold the tables for 15 mins past your reservation before giving your table away to the waitlist.

Barbuto offers semi-private dining for parties of 7 to 20 guests at our Chef's Tables, as well as private dining for up to 40 seated guests in Waxie's Private Dining Room.
