Why We Like It

What can we say? Galatoire’s is one of New Orleans’ quintessential dining experiences — lunch in its dining room remains a must-do. You start with a Sazerac, of course, and then move into crab Yvonne or shrimp etouffée — a benchmark for that dish — or the current selection of fish with a meunière sauce, which you should match up with a white Burgundy. Pro tip: Check the deep list of Bourgogne Blanc, and get the perfect reminder why dining in this city is an essential pleasure.

Need to Know

We are seating reservations in our first floor Main Dining Room as well as the Galatoire's 33 Dining Room & Bar Area.

In the Main and Second Floor Dining Rooms, gentlemen are required to wear jackets after 5pm and all day on Sunday. Collared shirts & long pants are required for lunch. Galatoire's 33 Dining Room can accommodate guests without jackets. Tennis shoes, sneakers, tank tops, and flip flops are not allowed in either dining room during lunch or dinner for either gentlemen or ladies. Shorts are allowed in the summer months between April 1st and Labor Day in the Galatoire's 33 dining room.

You may make a request for seating preference on your reservation; however, due to limited capacity it is not guaranteed.
