Why We Like It
You’ll be happy with the innovative vegetable dishes and wood-fired seafood and meats at this stylish Nordeast newcomer from local restaurant pros Kim Tong and chef Dennis Leaf-Smith (Esker Grove, Lurçat) — but you’ll be over the moon if, weather permitting, you pull up a chair on the leafy, arbor-shaded patio; it’s one of the area’s most appealing outdoor dining spaces.
Need to Know
Patio Seating: We take reservations only in our dining room in case of inclement weather. We try to offer reservations priority seating on our patio by texting reservations day of, then open up remaining outdoor seating availability online. If you prefer outdoor seating. please make a note in your reservation and we will do our best to accommodate. As there are less patio tables than main dining room tables, requests fill quickly. Once the reservation is moved to the patio, we cannot guarantee that there will be space to move back to the dining room. This opens up a fair amount of same day availability on non-rain days.
Parking: We do not have our own parking area. There is a pay surface lot located behind the restaurant, stairs lead to the back of our patio. Entrance to this lot is located off of SE University Ave, in between Bank St. and E. Hennepin. There is also street metered parking. On East Hennepin Avenue, the parking lane functions as a bus-only lane from 4:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. (southbound), Monday through Friday.
