Why We Like It

Craft cocktails and Southern food converge at this acclaimed east side destination. The drinks here are true originals, like the P-Town Boxing Club (coconut-washed rye, pandan, bitters), with a few modified classics like the Lychee Daiquiri as well. To eat, you can’t go wrong with anything deep fried or cheese-laced but we especially love the pimento cheese burger.

• We hold a significant portion of the dining room for walk-in customers, available on a first-come, first-served basis.
• Valet parking is available on Thursday, Friday & Saturday

Thunderbolt is what happens when a technique-driven cocktail bar is distilled down to its core and reimagined as a neighborhood watering hole. We've omitted the pretense and theater to provide a more accessible hospitality experience. This same approach applies to our drink-making: remove anything superfluous, leave the fussy glassware and garnishes to the influencers, and add only what creates a more efficient, more sustainable, and most importantly, more delicious cocktail.
