Why We Like It
Named for chef-owner David Kuo’s childhood nickname, xiǎo pàng — a term of endearment, we promise — this West L.A. charmer is a staple for Taiwanese comfort foods, from Sunday Gravy (a.k.a. lu rou fan) and scallion pancakes to 3 cups chicken and beef noodle soup.
Need to Know
Due to limited seating, a reservation is highly recommended. Although we try our best, we may not be able to accommodate walk-ins depending on the night. Outdoor seating is available, but limited.
Street parking can be found in front of the restaurant as well as in the adjacent neighborhood.
If you wish to book a party larger than 6, please refer to the information on our website.
About Little Fatty
At Little Fatty, Chef David Kuo puts his unique twist on staple Taiwanese dishes to create a special category of his own: Taiwanese Soul Food, a modernization of the traditional. The menu features classics such as kung pao chicken, walnut shrimp, and Dan Dan mian, but also has plates that highlight the chef's unique upbringing as a Taiwanese-American like Chinese BBQ Pork (think Peking Duck but with BBQ Pork) and XO Fatty Noodles.
Accomplice Bar has its home within Little Fatty, where you can find an array of cocktails that combine delicious and unique flavors.
