Barra Vieja by Chef Julian Medina is a Coastal Mexican Seafood restaurant opening in one of Miami’s most up-and-coming areas, Downtown Doral this fall 2024. Its menu will showcase Chef Medina's culinary artistry and offer dishes that are prepared for sharing, with generous, family-style portions. Located on the Southeast corner of Main Street and Paseo Boulevard in Downtown Doral, the 4,942-square-foot restaurant is instantly defined by its glamorous Pablo Castellanos design. Drawing inspiration from the sun-kissed shores of the Mexican beach Barra Vieja, the 160-seat restaurant exudes an ambiance that seamlessly marries the allure of land and sea. Guests are greeted by rich azure walls and the warmth of natural white oak wood finishes, while fish-inspired wicker decorative lighting fixtures float overhead. The open kitchen concept allows guests to witness culinary mastery firsthand. Barra Vieja will feature indoor and outdoor dining spaces with a full bar. Guests can indulge in daily oysters, Tiritas de Atun (yellowfin tuna), Aguachile Verde de Camaron, Carnitas de Pulpo tacos, Camarones Sarandeados, Carne Asada, Pollo Borracho and more.
