Why We Like It
The massive wood-burning oven at Fiya commands attention, by design, of course. Think of it as a special ingredient that makes some of Fiya’s best dishes sing, like the zippy Moroccan fish with red pepper sauce, khachapuri, and fluffy pitas made fresh every morning.
Need to Know
Reservations for one hour and 45 minutes for smaller tables and 2 hours for larger tables and are available up to 45 days in advance. Tables will be held for 15 minutes before being offered to our wait list. Please call the restaurant at 773-543-7074 if you are running late.
Reservations are currently booked by table type - Dining Room, Oven Counter, or Patio. While we are currently taking limited reservations for the patio, please note that patio and indoor reservations are separate-- in the case of extreme weather, guests with patio reservations are not guaranteed a seat inside and, in the case of beautiful weather, guests with indoor dining are not guaranteed a seat on the patio. Our patio is unheated, with three heated domes during the winter, so dress appropriately.
Paid street parking is available along Clark Street, and there is usually decent, free parking on the neighboring side street.
About Fiya
Fiya is our expression of various Levantine and related cuisines, cuisines that have blended and evolved over centuries, often showing different personalities as one moves from here to there - Yemen, Morocco, Syria, Turkey, Israel, Palestine, Iraq, Georgia, and many others. What we especially love about the cuisine is that it is healthy while being delicious, veggie and fruit forward with a lesser emphasis upon dairy and meat. And Fiya revolves around a wood-burning brick oven, literally and figuratively, turning out fresh pita among other menu items. Ultimately we aspire to do honor to the heritage of the cuisine and to welcome all to the restaurant, especially the wonderful diversity that is Andersonville.
