Why We Like It
It’s a neighborhood pub with a difference, from the same team that brought you Bavette's, Au Cheval, and Trivoli Tavern. Expect a softly lit, 1920’s London atmosphere, a menu ranging from steaks to curries, a connoisseur’s wine list, and a world-class bar built around a vintage Italian espresso machine.
Need to Know
Reservations are available up to 21 days in advance, with each new date becoming available at 9 AM.
We are a very intimate restaurant and can only accept reservations for parties of 1-6 guests. We kindly ask that you do not book multiple reservations for one group.
We ask that all reservations be made true to size, including any children, so that we may plan accordingly. Please note that we do not have high chairs and are unable to accommodate strollers in the dining room.
About Armitage Alehouse
Outside, it's Lincoln Park, but inside the doors of the Armitage Ale House, it's London, circa 1926. This is the neighborhood pub you always knew existed back when, in the days when fireplaces still burned wood and music came from the piano. The menu offers select ales and cocktails, paired with hearty pub fare and dishes with their roots in India. The thoughtfully capacious list of French and American wines includes a number of curry-friendly selections and, of course, proper clarets. Rich, eclectic decor, spacious booths, warm lights and hand-carved woodwork — they just don't make them like the Armitage any more.
