There’s plenty to love within the imaginative seasonal American menu at this handsome neighborhood restaurant from Dano and Bethany Heinze, veterans of Charleston’s acclaimed McCrady’s and L.A. hot spots Animal and Jon & Vinny’s. Remember to check the blackboard menu over the antiqued mantelpiece for daily specials.

Need to Know

Street parking is available in the surrounding neighborhood. Ride share or walking is suggested. TIP - Look out for any street signs that say "2 Hour Permit Parking" - meaning you are free to park there for 2 hours without a permit.

Please be aware of our cancellation policy as there is a fee if you no-show or cancel after noon on the day of your reservation. We are a small restaurant and appreciate your understanding.

Vern's is a buzzy neighborhood restaurant serving eclectic American fare. Seasonal mixture of shareable plates, fresh pasta, and elevated classics.

We accept reservations up to 30 days in advance. We also have a 6-seat bar that is walk-in only. Feel free to come without a reservation, we have a waitlist once full and will text you once space becomes available.
