We’re a mostly walk-in barbecue spot, and we keep some tables ready for reservations, too. Book up to 7 guests on Resy. Bringing the whole gang? Pop over to bluebirdbbq.com and share the details through our contact form — we’ll take it from there.

During peak barbecue hours, our parking lots can fill up fast. If on-site parking is full, you’re welcome to street park on Hill Side Terrace just across the way — the light has a pedestrian walk signal to make crossing easy.

And if you can roll in together, we’re always grateful for a little carpool teamwork.

We’re a fun + friendly neighborhood barbecue spot—fired up by slow smoke, bold flavors, and serving good times for all.

Our style blends a nod to the classics, our northeast roots, and whatever playful, flavorful ideas we’re excited to serve—from here, there, and everywhere—piled high and made to pass around the table. The bar keeps the good times flowing with Vermont’s best beers, a small-but-mighty cocktail list, and handcrafted refreshers.

It’s all served with a fun, relaxed, + carefree vibe in our 100+ year-old farmhouse on the edge of the Winooski River.
