Need to Know
We are looking forward to serving you wine! We're a cell-phone-free space, so please turn off your phone before you come in to maintain the ambiance. If you need to use a device with a screen, including calling a car, please step outside and away from the other patrons. This will enhance the carefree drinking experience for everyone.
Please note that patio tables are weather-dependent. We have no roof on the patio, nor heaters. If a rainstorm starts while you're seated outside we'll move you inside if possible. If you prefer more security, please book a table inside.
Please be aware that we have a European service style where we don't rush people. You'll usually need to flag us down to get your check. We'll do our best to have your table ready when you arrive but on a busy night people occasionally need to wait for their table to be ready.
About Zuzu's Petals
Zuzu's Petals is an award-winning wine+dessert bar located in Inman Square, Cambridge MA. Created by French-trained pastry chef and chocolatière Alexandra Whisnant and former food-truck and grocery store owner Robert MacLean, Zuzu's Petals is a unique, funky space in Cambridge serving some of the world's best natural wines and classic European desserts. We're a great date spot but also a wonderful place to come with your friends to play cards, or to bring your family to celebrate a special occasion. We only play vinyl records, from start to finish, as the artists intended! No robot algorithm choosing our music. We also offer full, European-style table service, which can be charmingly slow.
We offer many wines by the glass that at most bars you can only purchase by the bottle. Our wine list features wines that create synergies with our desserts. We lean towards lighter reds and fruity whites from a variety of countries. You won't find any heavy Bordeaux or Barolos here, because we don't have steaks to pair them with. Nor will you find "dessert wines", because we love pairing our desserts with dry, fruity wines so that the sweetness of the dessert can brings out new flavors in the wine.
