Why We Like It
With its red-and-yellow-striped tent on the shoulder of the Fort Point Channel, the Barking Crab is a Boston landmark unto itself. But that’s not what packs its wooden deck year-round: Crowds come to feast on New England seafood classics like steamed lobsters, clambakes, and yes, crab, served with corn on the cob and plenty of warm butter. Lobster rolls, meanwhile, make for a less labor-intensive meal.
