Why We Like It

Like any sushi bar worth its toro, THEKOI is relatively minimalist by design — except when the plates come out. Traditionalists approve of the gorgeous sashimi and nigiri platters with things like glistening saba, perfect halibut, and hamachi. Things get a bit more wild with creative appetizers and rolls, including cured salmon tostadas with jalapeño jam. The all-in omakase is one for the books, especially when paired with some of the select sake on offer.
