From the team behind Fonda San Miguel, Tzintzuntzan (“zin-zoon-zan”) serves regional Mexican breakfast dishes like Huevos Motulenos served on a crispy corn tortilla with ham, plantains, and fresh ranchera salsa. You can also get coffee, agua frescas, and cocktails if that’s what you’re after. If you can, claim space in the private courtyard, and pop over to their take-out window for coffee and pastries like vanilla concha and mole poblano biscuits with jam and butter.

About Tzintzuntzan

Tzintzuntzan is a contemporary Mexican inspired café, bruncheria, loncheria, and panaderia. The name comes from the native Purépecha language from Michoácan, meaning "place of the hummingbirds". We offer a full service dining experience in the heart of the Allandale neighborhood.

We take reservations for all our indoor tables. We save our outdoor tables for walk in parties. If you don't see a reservation available, feel free to call and leave a message and our reservations team will call you back within a day.
