This fiesta-bright upscale classic has long defined “interior Mexican” (as opposed to Tex-Mex) cuisine in Austin since it opened in 1975. These days, Fonda San Miguel is better than ever — complete with an innovative menu section offering 100% plant-based, gluten-free tacos, enchiladas, and more.

Need to Know

• Reservations are recommended. We are open for dinner service Monday through Saturday and are closed on Sunday. For parties of 7-9, please call our host team at 512.459.4121 to book your table. Don't hesitate to give us a call for any questions on availability!
• Parties of 10-30 are considered large parties. To book your large group, please contact our event coordinator at: liv.jensen@fondasanmiguel.com (If your party size increases to 10+ on the day of your reservation, please contact Liv or the host team to complete the large group contract. This is a requirement that keeps dining experiences at Fonda San Miguel special and memorable for all our patrons.)
• Party must be complete to be sat. We hold the table for a grace period of 15 minutes before offering the reservation to our waitlist.
