About Delbar Middle Eastern - Old Milton

Translating to 'heart, captured' in Farsi, Delbar is a love letter to the influential dishes that shaped Fares’ (owner) youth and the women in his life who instilled his deep appreciation for Middle Eastern cooking. Hailing from Gorgan, Iran, Kargar grew up in the kitchen alongside his mom, aunts and grandmother. When first developing Delbar, he recounted his family’s regular get-togethers where brothers and sisters, cousins, and parents would gather round as Kargar’s grandmother dished warm, toasted bread straight from her tandoor oven. Delbar, meaning "heart captured" in Farsi, brings the rich flavors and traditions of the Middle East to Alpharetta through a menu inspired by Founder and CEO Fares Kargar's childhood in northern Iran. Growing up surrounded by family gatherings and generations of home cooks, Fares developed a deep appreciation for the role food plays in creating connection and community.

At Delbar Alpharetta, guests can enjoy a vibrant collection of Iranian, Turkish, Lebanese, and regional Middle Eastern dishes that honor tradition while embracing a fresh, contemporary perspective. Served à la carte and designed for sharing, the menu highlights house-made breads, colorful mezze, and richly spiced kabobs.
