Why We Like It

Food-lovers know Hero BoVino, inside Hop City Beer & Wine, for its meat counter, specialty foods, and serious sandwiches — but now proprietor Alex Sher and chef Chris McCord (ex-Gunshow) have upped the ante with this intimate weekends-only dining experience that combines a dinner party vibe with a dazzling contemporary tasting menu.

Need to Know

Parking will be at the Lee and White complex. We are located inside Hopcity, underneath Boxcar. Look for the neon mirror!
Allergies and dietary restrictions are welcome with proper notice. YOU MUST NOTIFY US OF ALLERGIES OR DIETARY RESTRICTIONS IN ADVANCE in the Resy app when booking. We will reach out to clarify before your reservation occurs.
If you book Counter seating you will be seated at the Chef's Counter as part of a larger group where you can observe the chefs creating your food. Table seating will be away from the counter, but you will still receive our prix fixe menu, and is recommended for a quieter, intimate night for you and your guest(s).

Bovino After Dark is a chef's counter experience built on the belief that the best meals feel like a conversation. Chef Chris McCord builds each menu fresh — five courses, rotating weekly-monthly, sourced for the season and executed with intention. You don't order from a menu. You arrive, you sit, and you experience to what the kitchen has decided to do with your evening.
