Michelin Guide Unveils 2026 Stars and Awards for Los Angeles

Published: June 25, 2026

The Michelin stars are back in the Golden State.

It was a big night for L.A., with fine dining stalwarts Somni and Providence each retaining three stars, and relative newcomer Corridor 109 receiving a star.

Below are the 2026 Los Angeles and Orange County restaurant honorees that are available to book on Resy and Tock — including some of your favorite established heavy-hitters (it was another year of stars for perennial favorites Holbox and n/naka!) to a host of excellent Bib Gourmands, a designation meant to represent more casual and affordable dining (welcome Little Fish, whose chefs were also named young chefs of the year!). You’re getting a fabulous meal at any of these award-winning spots. And for the full list of honorees across the state, head over to Michelin.

★ | Melrose Hill

This intimate chef’s counter experience led by chef Brian Baik rewrites the rules of fine dining in L.A. by presenting a thrilling seafood-focused tasting menu that can’t be defined by normal conventions — not quite an omakase nor wholly Korean, it’s something entirely its own, and entirely representative of the chef himself.

Holbox Tasting Menu

map

★ | Historic South Central

This groundbreaking mariscos stand inside Historic South Central’s Mercado La Paloma food hall has earned nearly every accolade imaginable, and for good reason. Whether you’re ordering from the walk-up counter or sitting down for a nine-course tasting menu, you can expect exceptional coastal Mexican seafood paired with farm-fresh California produce. You’ll want the kanpachi and uni tostada, the scallop aguachile, and tacos de pulpo, among many other things.

Here’s how to get in.

★ | Larchmont

At this vintage-inspired steakhouse, chef Kevin Meehan places the emphasis on expertly-sourced steaks, classic sides, and a martini‑forward bar. Dishes like beef tartare, a California wedge salad, Parker House rolls, and mushroom risotto set the tone for an indulgent night out with friends. The design embraces mid‑century Hollywood glamour, appropriate given its proximity to Paramount Studios.

★ | Palms

Female sushi chefs are rare both in Japan and the U.S., so when chef Niki Nakayama opened her namesake restaurant in Palms in 2008, the L.A. dining world quickly took note. After having worked for both sushi legend Morihiro Onodera and at a Japanese ryokan, Nakayama was inspired to open a restaurant with a seasonal kaiseki approach, leaning into local ingredients. n/naka is known for its artistic 13-course kaiseki which continues to garner widespread acclaim.

★ | Beverly Hills

Hidden in the back of a Beverly Hills outpost of Sugarfish, this sushi bar is entirely its own, serving up an incredible omakase that centers on seafood that’s primarily sourced from local waters.

Sushi Inaba

map

★ | Torrance

L.A.’s South Bay is a treasure trove of Japanese cuisine, and Sushi Inaba is a particular standout thanks to the skill and mastery of chef Yasuhiro Hirano, who manages to seamlessly make magic out of seafood. The sushi is, of course, excellent, but don’t sleep on the soba with uni sauce and the “udon” made with baby eels.

Bib Gourmand | Melrose Hill

Once upon a time, Angelenos chased Anna Sonenshein and Niki Vahle’s coveted fried fish sandwich pop-up across the city like it was a rare celestial event, but with their second permanent outpost—this time, in Melrose Hill — the duo proves Little Fish is not only here to stay, but that it has more to offer than just a really good lunch. Locally sourced seafood is served in a stylish bistro, where warm wood glows in the daytime and marble tabletops shine at night.

In addition to receiving a Bib Gourmand, Sonenshein and Vahle were also named Michelin’s Young Chefs of the Year, too.
